Interview Summary

Martin discusses his time working with Chandler as governor. In particular, Martin is mostly interested in discussing the Reorganization Act of 1936 and his leadership of the Kentucky Department of Revenue. He notes the authority granted to him by Chandler and the exemptions from patronage that allowed him freedom to lead the department as he saw fit.
