Interview Summary
Drew Rabidoux served as a Youth in Development Volunteer in the Dominican Republic from 2005-2007. After serving in AmeriCorps and her Master’s degree in social work. Training was at Entrena just outside Santo Domingo and where the focus was on learning Spanish;Dominican culture and technical training. Drew was assigned to the town of Haina where she worked with Dia Joven and Mama Tongo on HIV/AIDS education and prevention. Fighting against the stigma, she took people who were infected to clinics to obtain antiretrovirals. Drew now lives in Rochester, NY working as a psychotherapist.Interview Accession
