Interview Summary

Margaret Anne “Meg” Tassie Bonahoom was born on December 4, 1946 in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of a Certified Public Accountant, Glennon Bloomfield Tassie and Frances Beard Tassie. She attended DeVeaux grades 1-8, and graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1964. She enrolled at Bowling Green State University fall of that year before transferring to the University of Kentucky. In this interview she discusses her initial experiences on the U.K. campus in 1967 and 1968, including her membership in the Students for a Democratic Society.
