Interview Summary
Richard Wilson discusses how he broke the story of Otis Singletary's selection as president of the University of Kentucky, with the help of UK Trustee Sam Ezelle. He discusses his relationship with Singletary and the accomplishments of his presidency. He also discusses former Morehead State University President Adron Doran; former Eastern Kentucky University President Robert Martin; former Northern Kentucky University President Frank Steely; and the changing relationships between regional universities from the 1970s on, as the Council on Higher Education was strengthened. He reflects on his work as a journalist and what it took to be successful.Interview Accession
