Interview Summary
In this second of a two-part interview, Doug Castle, longtime mayor of Paris, Kentucky, elaborates in further detail on his major projects during his tenure as mayor, namely the Paris Pike project, which was a plan to build a new road connecting Paris to Lexington. Castle traces its genesis from 1966, when he was first appointed to the committee to 2003, when the road is finally completed as a four-lane highway.
