Interview Summary
Conrad Smith discusses his life on Stinking Creek in Knox County, Kentucky. He has lived there most of his life on a farm once owned by his parents. He discusses his childhood on the farm and in the local two-room school. He talks about how agriculture has changed, and discusses in detail the specifics of his own farm. He talks about the community as a whole, and its reputation. He also talks about the Lend-A-Hand Center and the Grow Appalachia program in the area.Interview Accession
