Interview Summary
In this interview with Bluegrass musician Bill Clifton, Clifton discusses his beginnings in music, his time in the Marines and the Peace Corps, giving up his career in business to continue playing music, and his numerous tours across the world playing Bluegrass. He talks about being an unofficial Bluegrass ambassador, bringing Bluegrass music and musicians to foreign countries, as well as bringing musicians from those countries to America. Throughout the interview, he discusses many specific songs and albums he and other musicians recorded, the origins of these songs, and the importance of preserving traditional music.Interview Accession
