Interview Summary
In this first interview with Mac Wiseman, Wiseman discusses his childhood, early musical influences, and how he began working in the music business. He discusses the many radio stations he worked at, the various shows he played on, and the bands he worked with early in his career including Molly O'Day & The Cumberland Mountain Folks, Flatt and Scruggs and the Foggy Mountain Boys, and Bill Monroe and the Bluegrass Boys before becoming the leader of his own band.
