Interview Summary

Jack Wilson (Liberia, 1962-1964; Education Program) discusses his life and educational background both before and after joining the Peace Corps, including growing up in southern Michigan and graduating from the College of Wooster with a speech degree in 1961. Wilson describes his time in the Peace Corps spent teaching English in Monrovia, Liberia and coaching basketball. He tells about how he became Associate Peace Corps Director in Sierra Leone, then desk officer for The Gambia and Nigeria, and then Director in Fiji.
