Interview Summary
In this interview, John Herbst talks about his involvement with WRFL as a member of the university administration. Herbst talks about his introduction to WRFL, the prior success of the Concert Committee, and the student atmosphere at the university in the eighties. He talks about how they started the station, the obstacles that had to be overcome, the requirements for creating the station, and his role in assisting WRFL. Finally, he talks about some of the memories he has of the early days of WRFL and the impact WRFL has had on the student community.Interview Accession
