Interview Summary
Mark Scarr talks about his time as director of Camp Shalom from 1983-1991. He talks about the various locations of the camp during this time. He talks about the sense of community among campers and counselors at Camp Shalom, with many campers eventually becoming counselors themselves. He talks about non-Jewish campers and the effect of the camp on the wider Lexington community. He describes some of the activities the campers participated in at Camp Shalom.Interview Accession
