Interview Summary
Dr. Elizabeth Wright was one of 3 women in a class of 60 students who graduated as the fourth class of the UK College of Medicine. Dr. Wright specialized in internal medicine and neurology and owned a private solo practice for 10 years in Lexington, Kentucky. She and her husband moved to North Carolina where she worked for the remainder of her career. She talks about growing up, her college and medical school years, and her practice in the field of neurology.
