Interview Summary
Herrington discusses her high school tennis career and getting a grant from the University of Kentucky to play tennis in college. Herrington discusses her first impressions of the team and her social and academic life at UK. Herrington discusses her freshman year at UK and a tough loss that led the coach to change her coaching style. Herrington talks about Title IX and the impact it's had. Herrington discusses winning the state tournament her sophomore year and being co-champions her junior year. Herrington also talks about leaving the team to focus on school for her senior year.
