Interview Summary
Clara Oldham talks about moving to Owensboro (Ky.) in 1950 and her experiences working in the field of social work. She speaks about feminism in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, and women's experiences with employment and medical care. She discusses the "politicizing of gender" issues, specifically the abortion debate, and the connections to religious ideologies.
