Interview Summary

Heather Cumming, a former Peace Corps volunteer, describes her upbringing and early days serving in Zambia. Cumming discusses growing up in Ohio, her education in the humanities, and her earliest connections to Africa. She goes on to describe her experiences joining the Peace Corps, getting trained for her service, and her first impressions of Zambia.
