Interview Summary
Mrs. McKinney is a long-standing resident of Adairville and witnessed the many changes that the city has been part of. Her husband, Ray McKinney, was the first pharmacist in town. Mrs. McKinney's memories are vast, and many of those memories are shared in this interview. She describes in great detail the layout of the city of Adairville when she moved there in 1954. She moves down each street one building at a time, describing the businesses, houses, government buildings, and residents located there. McKinney describes in detail how the layout of the city of Adairville changed from 1954 to 1981.Interview Accession
