Interview Summary
John Maddox talks about his five years (1978-1982 seasons) playing football at the University of Kentucky, which happened to be a low scoring but ultimately transitional period between their 1976 winning season under Curci and their 1983 turnaround--the biggest in NCAA history. He talks about life lessons he learned, people who inspired him, and his philosophy on the importance of sports.Interview Accession
