Interview Summary
In this interview, Horace Beavers discusses his life in Etowah, Tennessee. He describes what it was like growing up on a farm before the L&N Railroad came to Etowah. He discusses his education as a child and what it was like moving to Etowah so his father could work for the railroad. He talks about working for the railroad himself and his various duties and work experiences. He also discusses his views on the railroad and the people that worked there, as well as his own religious beliefs.Interview Accession
