Edith Turley, Clerk for Shiloh Baptist Church, Lexington, KY, gives a tour of the current church building; mentions individual pastors and other church leaders; and discusses church history (founded in 1896); the various Sunday School and member groups and church ministries; how she came to serve as Clerk and her work duties (from 2009 to the present); the church's historical items, which include extensive membership files, cards, and lists, as well as photographs and photograph albums; her questions about managing the archives; and her reasons for attending the Basic Archives Community Workshop at the University of Kentucky Special Collections Research Center in June 2016, what she learned from the workshop, and ideas for the future.
