Interview Summary

Capp Yess (Fiji, 1982-1984; Education Program) describes his living and teaching (science) situation in an Indian settlement on the island of Vanua Levu in detail. In the interview, he also talks about learning to respect another culture, especially differences in marriage, and tells the story of his own marriage to an Indian woman, after his third year as a Peace Corps volunteer doing training in the capital city. He tells a good story that illustrates Fijian hospitality. Yess also mentions his time as a physics professor at Morehead State University.
