Interview Summary

Dr. James "Jim" Krupa, professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Kentucky, details the historical and biological significance of the Mathews Garden, a half-acre woodland garden on the University of Kentucky campus. Dr. Krupa shares the history of the garden as well as that of the neighboring Mathews House and the Mathews family. He discusses the current state of the garden and his hopes for its future.
