Project: ACTION: Cancer Knowledge and Health Choices in Appalachia Oral History Project

Interview Summary

This interview was on the topic of cancer in Appalachia. To better understand cancers' impact within the region, oral history interviews were conducted, such that, we could learn more about the cancer epidemic through personal perspectives. The topics of interest included: engagement with the healthcare system, understanding of cancer, as well as health-behaviors including lifestyle choices and health-seeking behaviors.
