Interview Summary
This is an interview with James Boyd Evans, discussing his employment in both private academic institutions and the railroad industry. Mr. Evans is a graduate of Centre College and Harvard Business School. He has worked as staff and faculty at Centre, and was the Vice President of Finance and Business Affairs for Pikeville College, now the University of Pikeville. He discusses his time at Pikeville College, which was a period of economic problems and presidential turnover. He also relates his time with various railroad companies, including Norfolk & Western, Burlington Northern, and Illinois Central.Interview Accession
