Interview Summary

Delmar Robinson was employed as the first Administrative Officer, Assistant Center Director for Administration, at Cumberland Gap Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center when it was activated on June 22, 1965 and remained in that position until he was transferred in 1967. He served in various capacities during his National Park Service (NPS), Washington, D.C. Office. He served as Center Director of Oconaluftee Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park from 1969 until his retirement in 1995.
