Interview Summary
Mayor Burney Jenkins speaks candidly about his time in Scott County, Kentucky. He was a Teacher, a Student, an NFL Referee, and the first black mayor in the history of Georgetown, Kentucky. Although not a native of Kentucky, it is home. He speaks about growing up in the south and segregation. Time spent in athletics and education, as well as his political calling.
