Interview Summary
McCoy begins the interview discussing the various home remedies that were used by her mother during McCoy's childhood. McCoy describes raising children in the country and what would be fed to children. McCoy describes the process her family would use to can and preserve fruits and vegetables in detail. McCoy also discusses her family pets and her father's hunting. She discusses how wild cane has been declining in the area.
