Interview Summary

Fr. Michael Casagram has been a monk of Gethsemani since 1961. At the time of this interview, he was prior of the community, which is the second ranking office behind abbot. He discusses working as a vocations director, interacting with monks of other faiths, and dealing with new monks and applicants.
