Interview Summary

Ryan Wielgus, at the time of this interview twenty-seven years old, details his journey to the University of Kentucky. Wielgus describes his upbringing, and the military and mechanical backgrounds within his family. He shares about his time at Purdue University, his time in the ROTC, and his time working as a car mechanic. Wielgus details the positives and negatives of his involvement within the military as well as his six-year contract. He also reflects on how college has changed, and how the military has changed him, over the years.
