Interview Summary

Jo Ferguson describes the origins of his family, who settled in parts of Kentucky in the 1800s. He discusses his childhood in Mississippi, his experiences at the University High School at the University of Kentucky, and his college education at the university. He talks about his experiences serving in the military in Europe during World War II, where he met his wife who was from Czechoslovakia. He later was an attorney, became Attorney General, and later worked in bond law.
