Interview Summary

Lorenzo Jones, a former school teacher and insurance man, talks about his life as a black man in Henderson, Kentucky. He has much good to say about black leadership in the town, citing it as the reason for comparatively good race relations compared to neighboring towns. He also discusses differences in life in the early twentieth century versus the year the interview was conducted, and the effects of the civil rights movement.
