Interview Summary
During World War II, Marshall Webb served in the 339th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, Company E. He describes his combat experiences in North Africa and in Italy, breaking through the Gustav and Gothic defensive lines in Italy, and he reads a poem he wrote about the Battle of Tremensuoli. Finally, he describes his experiences in the hours following the liberation of a concentration camp (Dachau) at the end of the war.Interview Accession
