This project focuses on life in Lexington, Kentucky during the 1930s and 40s. Interviewees discuss day-to-day life during these years, including their families, homes, churches, and education. Other topics include entertainment during this time, which included children's games, literature, sports, sock hops, and the Lyric Theater.
