Interview Summary

Yeager discusses the history of the collaboration between the US Army Corps of Engineers and Eastern Kentucky PRIDE. He details the history of PRIDE from its inception to the time of the interview. He also describes the different focuses of PRIDE throughout the years, especially in regard to innovative wastewater treatment systems, several of which he describes in detail. Yeager also discusses the role of the US Army Corps of Engineers in regard to PRIDE and the projects they are working on in the region. He describes the differences between the focuses of PRIDE and the Corps, as well as how their funding mechanisms differ. Yeager also describes projects in surrounding states and what the likelihood is for organizations like PRIDE to occur in other areas with which he is familiar.
