Interview Summary
Maurice Robertson comments on his family history and education, churches that he worked at before coming to Lexington and becoming the pastor of Second Presbyterian Church. He also discusses new church programs, Meals on Wheels, the handbell choir, the church's mission emphasis, being a pastor in Japan for three months in 1967, community involvement, a service that was held at the church after the death of Martin Luther King Jr., and his receiving a doctorate of divinity from Lexington Theological Seminary.Interview Accession
