Interview Summary
Judge Denise Clayton discusses her early life and professional career that led to service as judge in Jefferson County Kentucky. Justice Clayton discusses her experience with segregation. She shares her family?s role in the community as educators and the impact this had on her own education choices. She shares memories of her legal career which spanned from service in the IRS to Legal Aid. Campaign experience and lessons learned are shared and anecdotes from her Night Court service are highlighted.Interview Accession
