Interview Summary

Ami Simms discusses how she became interested in quilting, as well as how she became a quilting teacher. She talks about the quilt she brought to the interview entitled "Saint Basil's Cathedral," her usage of the internet to enhance the connection between quilters throughout the United States, as well as the classes that she is teaching at the Houston Quilt Festival. She also provides her input on whether she is a traditional or contemporary quilter as well as her opinion on the hand vs. machine debate in terms of quilting and applique.
