Interview Summary

Redd Crabtree, legendary Saddlebred trainer and the son of award-winning trainers Charles and Helen Crabtree, shares stories of his childhood in Arkansas and his life after being adopted by the Crabtree's when he was eleven years old. He discusses his parents careers, becoming a trainer, and winning three Five Gaited World Grand Championships. Crabtree reflects on the people who influenced his work including Lee Robey, Frank and Garland Bradshaw, and Billy Mountjoy. Horses discussed include Chief of Graystone, Will Shriver, Wing Commander, and Swish.
