Interview Summary

Walt Hirsch played basketball for the University of Kentucky from 1947-1951. In this interview, he discusses his childhood interest in basketball, his lack of college recruitment during high school, and how he came to attend UK. He discusses his teammates and their abilities, particular games from each season, and winning the NCAA Championship three out of his four years. He talks about also playing baseball at UK.
