Interview Summary

In this interview, Judith Moffett discusses 1984 through 1988. She describes the writing of "Penterra" and "The Hob" and other science fiction. Moffett discusses "planet building," Gaia Hypothesis, the inspiration from American History, and the settling of Pennsylvania. She also provides an explanation of changes in literature, noting science fiction, and awards and publications. In addition, Moffett discusses the difference between science fiction and fantasy.
