Interview Summary
In this interview with Daniel Boone National Park forester Ian Rison, Rison discusses his background, such as when and where he was born. He talks about his childhood in Covington (Ky.), including what he and his friends did for recreation. He then talks about working as a house painter and on horse farms. Next, Rison discusses how he disposes of his trash. He talks at length about recycling programs in Laurel County (Ky.) and gives examples from his own life of the ways in which he recycles. Finally, Rison moves on to the topic of illegal dumping in Kentucky, focusing in particular on the forest fires that burning such trash causes.
