Project: Savor: Immigrant Entrepreneur Oral History Project

Interview Summary

David discusses his parents' immigration from Haiti by way of the Bahamas and his life growing up in Miami in Little Haiti before moving to Lexington, Kentucky when he was 17. After college, he and his siblings and mom. opened Fida's Caribbean Cafe as a pop up and later as a restaurant inside Al's Bar. They plan to open a new restaurant in Lexington late July 2018.
