Interview Summary

Evelyn Hudson, a former employee of the Special Collections Library, discusses how her time spent working at the library positively influenced her life. She talks about discovering her career path, her love for archives and typography, and a research topic that she was (and is) passionate about. She explains the ideas that she has to make the library more inclusive and praises the growth that she has seen throughout the library since the beginning of her position. Additionally, she dismisses the idea that librarianship and archiving are "dying" professions and talks about the need for students to utilize the Special Collections Library.
