Interview Summary

Lee K. Nelson discusses oil pollution of Ohio River and Green River, sources of pollution, and the ineffective enforcement by state agencies. He talks about the Audubon Society, sponsorship and defeat of bills for additions and revisions to KRS 353 to strengthen pollution laws, Fish and Wildlife Department research on oil coated rabbits, and effective enforcement by Division of Water Management inspectors.
