Interview Summary

Frizzell discusses growing up in Bath County and Salt Lick and his pride in his Eastern Kentucky heritage. He describes the efforts that PRIDE has made in the city and county, as well as the progress that was made in regard to environmental problems separate from PRIDE.
Frizzell discusses how attitudes have changed about environmental issues and how he thinks it is possible to change people's attitudes about the environment through childhood environmental education. He discusses law enforcement in regard to illegal dumping and outlines what he believes the future needs will be for Eastern Kentucky in regard to environmental issues and PRIDE. He shares his feelings about PRIDE and describes the impact it has had on the region.
