Interview Summary
In this second interview with Tom Embry, he discusses his service in the Korean War and a visit he and his wife made to Korea for the 50th anniversary of the war's end. Embry tells of racetrack experiences and the changes he has witnessed in regard to racing and care of the horses. He discusses his father's work with horses (Clarence Hayes) and reflects on the challenges faced by blacks in the industry. Farms discussed include Hamburg and Overbrook.Interview Accession
