Interview Summary
Garrison begins the interview by talking about his childhood. Following this, Garrison outlines his educational path, from elementary school to the obtaining of his PhD at the University of Minnesota. The beginning of Garrison's writing career, as well as his marriages are also mentioned. The interviewee's experience teaching at Spalding University is also reflected upon. Garrison's writing and his methods of teaching creative writing are then described.
