Interview Summary

This is the second of two interviews with Helen Garner. Garner discusses their lack of sex education as children and young adults, as well as some home remedies that were used instead of going to the doctor. Garner describes her work experiences throughout her life. She goes into detail about her experiences with parenting and child-rearing, including her views on corporal punishment, the education system, and integration. Garner discusses how people still have roots in Midway and return for reunions.
