Interview Summary

This interview with Prestonsburg (Ky.) native James Goble begins with a discussion of when and where he was born. He then describes his childhood home, which was a house in a coal camp, and talks about what he and his friends did for recreation. Next, Goble talks about how his family obtained water from a well and used an outhouse. Finally, he talks about how his family bathed before the installation of running water.
