Interview Summary
[This interview takes place amid a lot of background noise.]Growing up in the coalfields, Hall felt underprivileged. Her parents worked very hard so that Hall and her siblings could graduate high school. She discusses overcoming stereotypes against American Indians. She has taught her grandchildren about their heritage and likes to visit other tribes and view their crafts. Hall feels that Native Americans have to feel inferior because every tribe has been treated so badly. She sums up her life by saying she is very proud of her religion and education, and grateful that her parents provided access to these institutions.
