Interview Summary
Dr. Peggy Falace graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 1972 when few women were pursuing physician careers. She specialized in pediatrics, genetics, and pathology. She helped develop genetics research and clinical practice in the early years of the field. Dr. Falace was one of 9 women in a class of 85 students. Dr. Falace talks about growing up in a rural area, growing up on a farm, working at her family’s business, going to school and college, her medical school years and her professional career.Interview Accession
